On this day in History (April 29th, 2007) At 2007′s Backlash, Melina defended her Women’s Championship against Mickie James in a rematch to the bout that brought the title to Melina’s waist. Clearly, there was no love lost between these two: both competitors played dirty, using a lot of choking, hair pulling, eye-raking and forced splits to gain an advantage. In the end, it was Melina with a well-timed eye-rake that set her up for her finisher, and she defeated Mickie, retaining her title.

Tonight at Genesis, Gail Kim puts the Knockouts Championship on the line against Mickie James for the third time. Which Knockout will walk out with the gold? The Diva Dirt team weigh in…

Bobby: This could easily go either way. I’m not sure if TNA would really go for Mickie losing three straight times in a row, but part of me just doesn’t see Gail’s title reign ending yet. I just hope that if Gail wins, it’s on her own accord and not because of help. Perhaps maybe Madison can stroll down, but Mickie takes her out this time, only she then turns around into the Eat Defeat and Gail Kim retains the Knockouts Title.

Cryssi: You know what, I’ll be completely honest. I really didn’t have a clue that there was a pay per view tonight. So in the spirit of TNA, where titles can change hands more times than a prostitute changes underwear (and hey, they change via lock box too), I’m going to flip a coin. Heads, Mickie wins. The following are results from this past week’s Impact Wrestling live events, which took place on Thursday and Friday.

Albany, New York | Thursday, December 29th:
Gail Kim defeated. Mickie James (TNA Knockouts Championship Match)
When Gail came down to the ring she put her two titles right in Mickie’s face. As Earl handed the titles to Ronnie Land, Mickie shoved down Gail. Gail worked on Mickie’s left arm most of the match, which she started to do from the start. Mickie kicked Gail to the ring apron. Gail slammed Mickie’s arm off the top rope as Gail dropped to the floor. Gail kept working on Mickie’s arm. Gail hit a single arm DDT on Mickie’s worked on arm. Gail motioned for the title around his waist as Mickie sold her left arm. Gail used a submission hold on Mickie’s left arm. Mickie rose to her feet and hit a knee to Gail’s chest. Mickie hit a neckbreaker on Gail. They both got to their feet and traded right hands. Mickie knocked Gail down twice and then hit the Thez press off the top rope. Mickie hit punches and went for the win but Gail kicked out. Mickie hit a knee to Gail’s chest and went for the Mickie DDT but Gail reversed it and went for the Eat Defeat but Mickie rolled her up but Gail reversed it and pulled on Mickie’s shorts to win. Mickie James fight with Winter at TNA’s No Surrender match where she defeated by Winter. This victory made Winter two time Knockout Champion. People Predictions went wrong when Winter win this match however it is not so easy to win from Mickie. Angelina Love help Winter to win and she tried to hold Mickie. At the end Winter put blood in Mickie James Eye and this step made her victory at No Surrender. Mickie James was not so happy and Velvet Sky help Mickie and take her outside from the ring. IMPACT WRESTLING Sep 1, 2011: Mickie James vs TNA Knockouts Champion Winter

We had a another TNA Knockouts Championship Match in between Mickie James vs. Winter. The bell rang and match ready to begun. Winter twisted Mickie’s arm and put her down to the mat. Winter backs Mickie up into the corner and drives her shoulder into Mickie’s midsection repeatedly. She catched Mickie with a couple of boots to the stomach but Mickie comes right back with a big hurricarana. Mickie James turns things around but she pulled to the outside by Winter. Mickie begins fighting back hitted a couple of big forearms. Back in the ring both women get to their knees and trade forearms. Winter gets the upper hand but Mickie comes right back with a big clothesline. Mickie put Winter on her soulder with a couple of big forearms. Mickie rushes Winter in the corner and pulls her hair, but the ref breaks them up and Winter tells her to back off. They lock up and Mickie takes her down with a hip toss and almost gets a rollup, then she takes Winter back down with an armlock. Winter reverses the hold but Mickie steps over then takes her down with a leg whip. The match was so intersting and Mickie James managed to win TNA Knockouts Champion again. She celebrates with her championship then taunts an unconscious Winter on the mat before leaving. Checkout Video below.

Congratulations to Mickie on winning the Knockouts Championship for a second time in less than a year

Former Knockouts Champion Mickie James recently returned to Mexico to compete for AAA following her debut a couple of months ago at Triple Mania. This time Mickie who is a heel in AAA  competes in an eight way elimination match for the Reina de Reinas Championship. The other participants are Pimpinela Escarlata, Jennifer Blake, Lolita, Mari Apache, Cynthia Moreno, Faby Apache and Sexy Star.

Pimpinela Escarlata who won the match is actually an exotico a flamboyant male wrestler. It is just WWE that puts women’s belts/crowns on guys yrying to repress memories of Santina. Watch Video’s below.

TNA Impact Wrestling : Mickie James and Madison Rayne

Feast your eyes on the number 1 Contenders Match between Mickie James and Madison Rayne which kicked off the Knockout action on Impact. Mickie James clearly jumps on Madison during the doffing ceremony and quickly rolls her up for a one-and-half count. Madison plays and responds with her own quick cover on Mickie who kicks out at one. Madison does some more fooling around then gets her fingers in Mickie James eyes and with this Mickie was temporarily blind. This reason allowing Madison Rayne to get in a swift kick and another aborted cover. Madison grabbed Mickie’s hair and slamming her face into the mat until Mickie rolls her up again and then gets going with some offense of her own. Then gave her Some punches and an elbow. Madison comes back with an elbow of her own but gets slammed to the mat. Mickie follows up with a swift action went to the top rope then pauses to try on the tiara while Madison was standing. She does a fair imitation of queenliness as Madison attempts to attack from behind then follows with a loud Mickie-DT for the win.

Mickie James and Winter had a wonderful fight at TNA Hardcore Justice match. Fight begun and Winter immediately tries rolling up Mickie James. She kicks out quick and Mickie gets Winter on the mat and works on her lower body in a submission hold. Winter rolls to the apron but Mickie James lost at TNA Hardcore Justice event. kicks Mickie when she walks over. Winter pushes Mickie into the turnbuckle. Lots of standing switches but Mickie gets a quick two count. She goes for a slam but Mickie counters and lands a dropkick to Winter’s knee. Two count for Mickie. Angelina Love ends up providing a distraction for Winter as she takes Mickie out over the rail. Mickie is out and countering and hits a head scissors takeover on Winter. Mickie lands more offense and picks Winter up and face plants her on the mat. Mickie goes off the top rope and lands a Thez press. Angelina Love comes and hits BAB on Mickie with the referee distracted by Winter. Winter only gets a two count. After the match, Winter and Angelina celebrate. Mickie was screaming that she can not see. Mickie face was covered in something red. Trainers run down to check on Mickie as the new champion heads up the ramp.
